Cancer Research UK has deployed enterprise monitor and alert system, GroundWork Monitor Professional, to keep a watch on all IT issues within the organisation.
Cancer Research UK needed a system that could manage databases of huge amounts of research information for easy availability and accessibility and keep back-end systems always online. It also wanted to control the entire IT infrastructure of network, servers, databases and applications through a single system.
Jacky Duncan, operation team leader of information systems at Cancer Research UK, said: "We needed a comprehensive tool like GroundWork with an interface where we could immediately see the source of problems and take action."
